Adopting principles such as transparency, accountability and participation, Kadıköy Municipality wants to support the development of innovative policies for the district with the data published on the Open Data Portal. This portal is also open to data sharing by other institutions and it is believed that this will develop a more holistic approach.

It is possible to publish studies, analyzes and productions made using the portal on the portal. It is hoped that these analyzes and productions will be beneficial in the future vision of Kadıköy and increase the opportunities for participation in the management. In the first stage, 12 data sets were activated. However, with the evaluation of data demands and changes in needs, new data sets can be created and the data diversity in the portal can be increased.
